Legal background: 

Legally established, 1975, under the laws of the Republic Socialist of Vietnam. HasA Trading Corp. has been successor of the Equipment Trading Enterprise II, a public company owned and operated by Department of Commerce, Government of the RSVN. In 1980, the Company was privatized with  100% interest holding by private citizen. 

Management:  Chairman-Director General: Vu Minh Chau.

Mr. Vu has been holding this position since the establishment of HasA Corp.

The Headquarters houses the 2,000 square fee t- Corporate Management Office which is equipped with up to date electronic office machines and telecommunication equipment, and a large Show-room, 2,000 square feet,  displaying HasA represented imported products as well as its own locally manufactured ones.

The HASA Northern Facilities includes a 1,200 square foot Show room and Sales Office in Hanoi business district..

            Plant and Equipment:

Plant: Manufacturing plant and warehouse, 50,000 square feet, are located in the suburb of Hochiminh City and Hanoi.

Equipment: Computer assisted design equipment, sophisticate computerized carpentry machines, woodworking and metal working equipment, material-handling equipment.

                     Services: Design, Installation and Repair laboratory equipment 

Sales and Distribution:

            HASA Corp. currently sells and distributes scientific and educational products, which imported from Europe, Asia, and USA.  In 1998 and 1999 HASA imported  $2 million  each of laboratory equipment and supplies.

            HASA pays its transactions by Irrevocable Documentary Letter of Credit opened by Vietinbank and confirmed by commercial bank of suppliers' countries. In some instances, payment also can be made with Bank wire transfer.
